Text Box: In recent news, the KBC has fully renovated the Boat House giving Rowers a pleasant, fully-equipped boat room, lounge, locker room,  and exercise room.  These facilities have been provided for all rowers because of popular demand and increased participants.  The new exercise room features two state-of-the-art rowing machines, bench-press, Soloflex style machine, rotating priors, abdomen exerciser, new free-weights, and more.  The rowing machines, or ergometers, help rowers practice for ergometer events in big rowing events.  The isolated aerobics room has air-conditioners, oak floors, and a high-fidelity audio system.
The co-ed locker room has men’s and women’s restrooms, showers, benches, and multi-metric scale.

Text Box: Rowers can enjoy chatting with teammates in the lounge or simply enter the boat club for beverage and assorted snacks.
Management has hired additional Khalisis for tending to the boats and maintaining the pontoon.  The inside of the Boat Room has been freshly painted and the boats are waxed and polished weekly.  Another compelling fact is that an entire set of new boats has been ordered from Europe and will be arriving by the end of the season.  This is amazing considering other fiberglass boats have already been donated by the Navy Rowing Team in 2002.  The availability of more boats and oars suggests that the team will be dominant in marine activities all throughout Pakistan year in and year out.
